This was my first time going up to Champlain!
The Champlain Lookout is located at the top of Eardley Escarpment in the Gatineau Park. It offers spectacular views of the Ottawa Valley and the Gatineau Hills. This lookout is accessible via the Gatineau Parkway. There are several hiking trails within the park, which offer great opportunities for bird watching, wildlife viewing, and photography.
Make sure to bring in some sugar and snacks, this is a challenging ride. Maybe also a jacket, fast descents can get chilly.
